• Each time a standard course is created, the system automatically creates a class group (you can view this group at ClassIn IM). When created, the names of group members are set by default using a user nickname, which we call Class Nickname.
  • Course teachers, TAs, and classroom teachers can change a student's class nickname from the ClassIn IM client, or call the API interface to change a student's class nickname.
  • The name displayed when a student enters a classroom under the course is Class Nickname.；
  • When a course is terminated, the class group is automatically disbanded.
